Birds of a Feather: Prologue


It was the most exciting time in Addy's life. Here she was, on her way to Neo City, the mecca for anmans of all shapes and sizes. It was the only place in the Nation where an anman could actually make something of themselves, and truly enrich their lives.

As her little Nissan sped along, she couldn't help but gleefully smile. The excitement was in full force. Ever since she was little she dreamt of becoming a model. To her, the body is a beautiful thing, a work of art even, because no two in the world are the same. That is to say, each one is unique. She felt by becoming a model she would be able to inspire others to love the way they looked instead of disliking it or even being ashamed of it.

As she entered the city limits she stopped at Angel Vista, one of The Neo City District's beauty spots. Here she could see the three cities, of Riverfeld, Neo City, and Thomason. She parked her car and stepped out to admire the three cities' glowing lights and night life.  She placed her hand on her chest and sighed a happy sigh,
"Made it." she said softly.

As she drove into the passes around Riverfeld, she stopped at a gas station to refuel. When she entered the mini-mart the attendant took a double take, He has never seen girl built quite like Addy before. Addy when to the fountain and mixed a couple sodas into one cup. She then went and picked up a milky-way candy bar, all the while the attendants was staring at her with his mouth wide open. She approached the counter to make her purchase and the attendant re-gained his composer. He made the transaction like he would any other only his eyes kept looking down at Addy. She took a sip of her drink mix and looked at the attendant. He couldn't help but blush.

"Excuse me, she said, "I'm not from around here. Can you tell me the quickest way to get to Neo city?" The attendant lifted his gaze and looked out the window motioning with his hand.
"Continue down this winding road here and follow it until you hit Greene Street then turn right and head North West on it. Greene Street runs through Riverfeld and Neo City, all the way to Beach City." said the flustered man. Addy smiled.
"OOH, thank you so much!" she said happily. Addy then took her purchase and left leaving the attendant in a daze.

"What a woman." he said to himself.
